Why this library exists#
Whoever buys or sells a Brazilian mineral asset crosses two systems that barely speak to each other: the mining-title process at the ANM, and the reporting codes for mineral resources and reserves (JORC, NI 43-101, S-K 1300, the CBRR Guide). Each has its own vocabulary, deadlines and accountable people, and most misunderstandings in a transaction are born at the border between them.
These pages put the two systems side by side, without sales jargon. They are the material IncorpMine's team uses to read an asset before any conversation, and that an independent technical reader can check, print and challenge.
The source rule#
No regulatory statement goes in without a primary source (statute, decree, resolution, the text of the code, an official report), cited on the page itself. What is market practice rather than rule is marked as such. Sector figures carry a date and a link. When a source is secondary, we say which and why.
How to use it#
